The demolition of the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) free schools by the Lagos State Government has sparked controversy.
According to popular TV station TVC News, the school authorities have threatened to sue the Lagos State Government over the demolition.
Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere expressed disappointment during the demolition, stating that the land was legally purchased and that the purchase documents were presented as proof.
The officials reportedly took a casual approach and started demolishing the chapel. Online responses to this have been mixed, with some netizens voicing indignation and others demanding that the church be compensated. Furthermore, the issue has not yet been addressed by the Lagos State Government.
