Tomama, a comedian, discusses why she would never be able to be a baby mama to any man. She said this in response to the egregious attitude that women currently have toward giving birth outside of marriage and men’s insistence that women become pregnant for them before they marry them.
“Having a baby is not something to be taken lightly as though it were nothing,” Tomama said.
She believed that a man must have married her properly before she could have a kid with him.
“Una think say pikin na hamper…. if you no go marry me proper, you no go see pikin,” she said.
