Candy Bleakz, a rising female rapper, opens up about how painful it was to lose the title of “YBNL Princess” to Temmie Ovwasa in 2015 due to Olamide’s decision.
These disclosures were made during her guest appearance on the most recent episode of Kim Oprah’s reality TV program, “Trending.”
She claimed that Temmie Ovwasa was introduced by Olamide, the label’s boss, in place of her original plan to become the YBNL Princess.
She said, “I was really sad the day Baddo (Olamide) unveiled Temmie Ovwasa, even though she is my friend.” I was to be the Princess of YBNL. “Why did they sign someone else?” I thought to myself.It’s important to remember that Temmie and Olamide had a falling out a few years later over claims of mistreatment.
