Pastor Daniel Olukoya, the senior pastor of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, has recounted a bizarre and unsettling experience from his university days.
According to him, back in 1976, while studying at the University of Lagos, he and his friends rushed a roommate to the hospital after an accident. Thankfully, their friend was admitted, and they were told to return the next morning.
But here’s where it gets even more eerie—just as they stepped out of the hospital, they saw a woman approaching them. And not just any woman… she was completely naked, carrying a large pot on her head!
At this point, some of his friends took off. Who wouldn’t? But Olukoya? He stood his ground. “Daniel, this is a spirit, and I will see it for myself,” he recalled telling himself.
Gather yourself because this revelation is wild—when he questioned the woman, she confessed that she had studied in the UK but was told by a native doctor that the only way to break free from her family’s problems was to perform a naked sacrifice.
Chai! Oppression is real. Pastor Olukoya tried to lead her to Christ, but she shut him down with, “Young man, mind your business.”
In the end, Olukoya reflected on the sad reality of spiritual bondage, saying, “Even the educated can be enslaved by oppression.”
