Bobrisky, a well-known lifestyle influencer, starts a new scandal by attributing his troubles to the award he got at the opening of Eniola Ajao’s film.
The socialite, who received a ₦1 million reward and was voted the event’s Best Dressed Female, says the accolade signaled the start of a downhill spiral in his life.
Wider accusations were raised after Bobrisky was detained by the EFCC for allegedly misusing the naira note after the award.
A leaked recording also surfaced, accusing him of acquiring a fancy residence instead of a jail sentence and paying officials to avoid money laundering charges, both of which he has strongly rejected.
Bobrisky, who is currently outside of Nigeria, recently shared on Instagram his thoughts on his experience, saying that it all started when he won Best Dressed Female.
“My problem started from when I collected best dressed female with ₦1 million prize. For my life, if I see award for best dressed female I go disappear from that location asap.
Everyone knows the truth that I’m a baddie with class, you wanna compete with me? Ur mummy never!!!! But when problem wan too much make I run,” he noted.
Discussions over the veracity of the charges and the difficulties that come with celebrity have been rekindled by the statement. However, Eniola Ajao has not yet addressed Bobrisky’s allegations.
