While being hauled to a police station by her lover, who responded violently when she ended their relationship, a Nigerian woman vented her displeasure on social media.
In a video that was uploaded on TikTok, she described the occurrence and disclosed that, before this episode, she had never visited a police station.
The woman clarified that the only reason she was arrested was because she informed her lover that she had no intention of pursuing their relationship any further.
In the video, she recounted: “You people in toxic relationships, if you tell your partner you’re not doing again, he’ll arrest you?”
She continued, “Immediately you tell your partner you’re not doing again, you find yourself at the police station? I’ve never been in a toxic relationship, never been to a police station before, but trust me, I was arrested and taken to the station just because I wasn’t interested anymore.”
