Uche Maduagwu remarked that what works for Veekee James may not work for someone else; thus, the fashion designer had no right using her marriage as a benchmark to give counsel to unmarried women.
According to the actor, most Nigerian women prefer that their men provide for their financial demands rather than vice versa. “Stop portraying marriage as a couture outfit that fits everyone. The kind of man you want to be is one that Nigerians will laugh at. They’re going to laugh at me for using social media.
That is the type of man you prefer, but other women dislike such men,” he explained. Uche Maduagwu’s comment comes after Veekee James posted a photo of her husband and herself with the caption, “This could be you and somebody’s son, but you like your men tall and handsome with perfect set of teeth, 100% financial responsibility, impeccable dress sense, very spiritual, yet with a touch of bad boyness.”
