In the ongoing ruckus between the billionaire Obi Cubana and the highly controversial next-of-kin claims, Geh Geh, the popular financial adviser, had also expressed his thoughts.
The whole saga started when the so-called adopted son of Obi Cubana made noise on the internet, claiming the title of “next-of-kin.” The nightlife mogul did not waste time in quenching the claim with a swift rebuttal.
In his commentary on the entire saga, Geh Geh praised Obi Cubana for acting fast on the topic but followed up with some blunt advice—and this one go cause talk! He stated that should Obi Cubana really desire his children to succeed in life, then he should contemplate bequeathing all his properties to charity.

Geh Geh said:
“If Obi Cubana wants his children to become successful, he should will all his properties to charity. (My advice to Obi Cubana and his next-of-kin).”
In the now-viral video, he further said:
“I really applaud your effort, the way you set that record straight. Next-of-kin for Nigeria no wan work again. ‘What do you do for a living?’ – ‘I’m a next-of-kin.’ Since when did next-of-kin become an occupation? Another man dey hustle, you dey wait.”
That one really struck gold!
Then came the reactions from the social media-Nigerians had a lot to say:
@provii8: “Make person catch this Geh Geh for me.”
@legendDboy: “If I’m being honest, this Obi stuff no too gel.”
@mr_adebayo55: “You don dey talk nonsense o Geh Geh… I go pour spit for your face.”
@Sire_Franky: “I agree with the hustle part, but leaving your kids with nothing? Nah. Better to teach them and empower them with your wealth.”
This debate has provoked serious discourse on the Net, with many being torn between Geh Geh’s tough-love advice versus the age-old expectation of inheritance.
