Veteran fuji icon K1 De Ultimate reveals a deep sense of betrayal that has set his heart ablaze.
In a recent interview with Agbaletu TV, K1 was frank enough to regret that his fellow fuji legend Alhaji Kollington Ayinla was unavailable during his mother’s last rites.
K1 went on to say: “This ain’t just a disappearance; this one really pain am deep! He had gone out fully in providing support during Kollington’s own bereavement, paying for the funeral services, inviting eminent persons, and standing by him in every possible way.”
“I am so angry with Alhaji Kollington because he never showed up to offer his condolences when I lost my mum,” K1 said. “When his own mother passed away, I supported him fully- I brought dignitaries, I paid for everything 100%. Look at how he paid mw back.”
Go according to betrayal.
K1 asked why someone he used to have utmost respect for would ignore such an important occasion, especially considering that Kollington was alive, kicking, and in Nigeria.
“He’s in Nigeria, hale and hearty, and the only excuse he gave was that he called and I didn’t pick up. Is that enough reason not to show up? Am I not supposed to be angry?” he asked with a shaky voice.
Since the clip has surfaced online, fans have taken to social media with reactions ranged from sympathy for K1 to hoping for reconciliation between the two legends.
