This case is beyond disturbing! A Nigerian man, Chukwuka Nweke, has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Italy after being found guilty of raping and murdering a 61-year-old woman, identified as Iris Setti, in the city of Rovereto, Trento.
According to reports, Nweke, who was known for drug abuse, brutally attacked the woman in a public park, hitting her face and head with his fists and a blunt object.
Italian news agency ANSA confirmed that he was convicted on three charges: murder, robbery, and sexual violence.
Eyewitnesses say he fled the scene but was later caught and arrested by the police. Unfortunately, Iris Setti did not survive due to the severity of her injuries.
As of now, the motive behind the attack remains unknown…
