Rapper Olamide has come under fire from gospel singer Agnes Iroh for using her son’s song “Follow the Ladder” as a sample in one of his tracks a few years ago.

Anes Iroh claims that Olamide included a clip of her previous song in his 2014 single “Our Lord Jesus.” The gospel singer revealed that her deteriorating health prevented her from criticizing Olamide in the past.

She invited the rapper to see her so they could resolve the matter amicably. Agnes went on to say that Olamide should pay her for using her song as a sample because it brought him much acclaim and advantages.

Social media users’ responses to her message were not entirely consistent.
