The Isabo Magistrate Court in Abeokuta has granted bail to controversial street-hop artist Portable. This follows his arraignment in court on charges pertaining to his alleged recent assault in Ogun State.
After he and his group clashed with certain government authorities, Portable was accused of several counts, including conspiracy, assault, and conduct likely to cause damage.
The perpetrator had turned himself in to the police before appearing in court. He turned himself in at the Lagos State Criminal Investigations Department after the Ogun State Command proclaimed him wanted.

Portable was taken to the Ogun State Police Headquarters after turning himself in, where he remained until his court date. After then, he was brought before the court and given bail.
Oluwatoyin Ayodele, his attorney, begged the court for release, stating that Portable
“is now remorseful and has learnt his lessons.”
The court, presided over by Magistrate O. L. Oke, granted Portable bail in the amount of N2 million, with an additional requirement of one surety in the same amount.
The case has been postponed until March 5 for further trial.
Additionally, nine of Portable’s associates were also brought before the magistrate to face similar charges.
