In response to Davido’s outburst against the Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Umar Abba, after Governor Ademola Adeleke accused Minister Gboyega Oyetola of inciting chaos in Osun State by trying to reinstate sacked local council chairmen, a lawyer going by the name Egi Nupe asserted that there is no difference between artists Davido and Portable.
Davido posted a picture of the police commissioner on his Instagram page and demanded that he follow the law.
He wrote, “Mr commissioner respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us !! Make we all kuru mad !! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post u every day everywhere Mr man !!! Try me fucker.”
Egi Nupe responded to this by criticizing the singer on his X page. He maintained that Davido’s wealth and power are the only things that set him apart from vocalist Portable.
He wrote, “Remove money, there is actually no difference between this guy and Portable.”
Nigerians have reacted to this claim by the lawyer.
