Nigerian musician Oludipe David, better known by his stage name Spyro, has said that he was the victim of a blackmail attempt involving the release of his purported sex tape.
On Tuesday, he revealed this in a string of tirades on his Instagram account. Spyro claimed that after confronting the individual about his misconduct, he was the target of this blackmail.
Spyro, who disclosed that the individual in question is religious, insisted that religious people are the biggest liars and con artists.
He claims that in order to commit evil and justify their sins, they conceal themselves behind their religion and phony spiritual airs.
He stated, “Don’t be deceived, the biggest scams and liars are the ones at the top of religious ladders.
They perpetrate evil and quote holy books to support their wrongs and then the emotional games and then threats. The deception is on another level.
“I once called someone out for wrongdoing me, next day, the person started confessing scriptures and in the same vein, sending threat messages about releasing sex tapes as how they have a girl claiming she’s pregnant for me…”
