Salvation Ministries’ Pastor David Ibiyeomie warns his flock not to take money from more experienced pastors in order to lessen their blessings.
Ibiyeomie claims that this behavior can impede one’s financial success and is not sanctioned by scripture.
Ibiyeomie stressed the value of contributing to senior pastors rather than getting from them in a video speech to his churchgoers.
He clarified that giving top ministers financial support can draw in heavenly favor and create opportunities for increased wealth.
According to David Ibiyeomie,
“May I tell you one raw truth? It may be hard, but never collect money from a senior man of God. You are reducing your blessing.”
Pastor Ibiyeomie drew from his own life experience, revealing that he has never asked his spiritual mentor, Bishop David Oyedepo, for financial help, even in the face of challenges.
“I’ll be the last person to collect a dime from Oyedepo, not because challenges have not come. That’s not how it works,” he said.
The cleric added …
“There are senior men to me today, and I can sow into their lives. But I will not go and say, ‘Pastor Femi, can you please help me?’ It’s not scriptural. Don’t collect money from a senior man; you are reducing your prosperity. Sow into the senior man to draw virtue for the next level”
