Nigerian Afropop musician Akinmayokun Awodumila, also known as May D, has explained why he did not have a bank account when working with P-Square. Mr May D, who has been in the news for days, revealed some of the awful treatment he got while working for Square Records.

Mr May D revealed that due to poverty, he was unable to create a bank account, although working for the twin musicians’ record label. May D revealed this during an interview with Chude on the Honest Bunch podcast.
He said: I didn’t have a bank account during my four-year tenure at P-Square. Only when someone has money does he open an account.
