No one is above the law, according to internet personality VeryDarkMan, who has demanded that Raheem Okoya be arrested for abusing Naira.

He responded to a viral video that purportedly showed Raheem Okoya, the son of Nigerian billionaire Rasaq Okoya, mistreating the naira while a police officer watched in a six-minute video that went viral on the social media site X (previously Twitter).

Raheem Okoya has not yet been charged with any crimes related to the naira abuse, but the police officer in the video has apparently been placed under custody.

In the video, VeryDarkMan expressed his worries and emphasized that everyone should be treated equally under the law, regardless of socioeconomic standing.

He emphasized that although Raheem Okoya was obviously implicated in the crime, he has not been held accountable, whereas the police officer who was involved in the incident has been detained.

Although Okoya had apologized for his behavior, VeryDarkMan maintained that ignorance of the law is not a valid defense.

Even though he apologized for the event, he brought attention to his own recent arrest for donning a police outfit.

VeryDarkMan further underlined that Raheem Okoya should be subject to the law if it is applied to those like Bobrisky and Cubana Chief Priest for misusing naira.

He stated, “The law in Nigeria is for everyone, whether you’re rich or poor.”

In his statement, VeryDarkMan described the situation: “This video trended yesterday, showing a wealthy man’s son, Raheem Okoya, bribing a police officer. They began mutilating the naira when the video went viral.”

He continued, “First of all, there’s no ignorance in the law. Secondly, the police officer involved in this crime was paid more than his salary, which is why he complied.”

“The police officer was arrested, but the rich man’s son hasn’t been touched. They’ve forced him to apologize, but that’s not enough. There’s no separate law for the rich. If the law is for the poor, it should also apply to the rich.”

Many worried people expressed their opinions in the comment area when the video went viral online.
