Fatai Oluperi Ayinla, the band’s longest-serving member, was honored with N20 million by Fuji veteran King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as KWAM 1.
This took place at the New Year Dance event held at the Balmoral Convention Center Sheraton Ikeja in Lagos on Wednesday, January 1.
Oluperi Ayinla was commended by KWAM 1 throughout the performance for his commitment to the band and for being a valuable member.
While praising Oluperi Ayinla, KWAM 1 gave the band member a massive N20 million as a token of appreciation for his contributions to the band’s development and commitment.
The assembled audience cheered when the money was presented.
