Olori Naomi’s mother continues to make a poignant plea to parents who lost their children in a recent funfair tragedy, imploring them to forgive her family and demand her daughter’s release.
During a live Instagram session with media personality Daddy Freeze, she expressed her great apologies and stated that the occurrence was inadvertent.
This came after her single appeal to the victims’ families, imploring the authorities to recognise her daughter after being accused with ‘accelerated murder.’ “I beg all the parents who have lost their children at the funfair. They should forgive us. It was not intended. I am prepared to visit them and apologize. We didn’t kill anyone. We never made it to the venue until today,” she remarked with emotion.
Olori Naomi and others involved in the funfair’s organization are currently facing numerous charges and will be detained until further notice. While an inquiry is underway into the funfair tragedy that claimed the lives of about 35 people, Naomi’s mother’s appeal shows the family’s efforts to repair relationships with the bereaved parents.
