In order to play in the Lagos Liga 2024, Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage names Davido or OBO, has announced the opening of his new football team, 30GB Sports Club.
With his club poised to create waves in Nigeria’s top private football league, Davido, who is well-known throughout the world for his high-energy performances, number-one singles, and influence on culture, entertainment, and other fields, is now stepping into the sports world.
On Wednesday night, Lagos Liga X made the announcement in a post that is currently trending.
According to the post: “THE WAIT IS OVER! Introducing 30BG Sports Club to Lagos Liga 2024. The 001 has landed. Davido, a globally acclaimed singer, transcends music and entertainment, impacting culture, politics, and more.
“Opponents, beware! Davido’s arrival makes the competition riskier. But will 30BG FC emerge victorious?”
When the Lagos Liga begins in December 2024, supporters can expect thrilling games as Davido brings his legendary energy and passion to the field.
Among the other celebrities he will face are D’Banj’s Koko FC, Tacha’s Titans FC, and Don Jazzy’s Supremos FC.
