A paternity test has revealed that the pastor who performed the wedding is the father of the man’s two children, shocking the man.
A pastor from the End Time Messages church in Chiredzi, Zimbabwe, has been forced to pay child support, according to a perplexing revelation that surfaced there.
According to DNA tests, the priest Vhetu is the biological father of two children born to Eunice Mururi, whom he officiated at her wedding to Farai Hatirarami.
The revelation of the truth caused Mururi and Hatirarami’s marriage to fall apart.
Now, Mururi has brought Pastor Vhetu before the court to request $700 a month in child support for their four and eight-year-old children.
In court, Pastor Vhetu made the startling discovery that he is the father of two children by a lady he officiated at her wedding.
He is now requesting a lower child maintenance payment, nevertheless, due to his inconsistent income from tithes and offerings—most of which are received in the form of food hampers rather than cash.
Farai Chauke, his attorney, contended that because Vhetu doesn’t have a regular paycheck, he is unable to afford to pay more than 150 ZiG for each child.
Pastor Vhetu’s child support lawsuit has shocked and stunned the community. His offer of 150 ZiG per child was ruled “insincere” by Magistrate Diana Musiiwa, who substituted $175 a month for both children.
This decision was made after DNA testing established that Vhetu was the father of the two children born to Eunice Mururi, whom he had presided at her wedding to Farai Hatirarami.
