Music lovers are buzzing over a video that went viral showing Olamide, the award-winning musician, bending down to greet his junior colleague, Omah Lay.
The two musicians met in the widely shared video, and to everyone’s astonishment, Olamide displayed humility by bowing before Omah Lay in spite of his well-established social standing and power.
The two had previously cooperated on a song.
Olamide (35 years old) bent to greet Omah Lay (26 years old), who returned the favor.
While some saw this as a sign of respect for one another regardless of one another’s professional accomplishments, others linked it to Olamide’s disposition toward treating everyone with dignity.
